Aguilar, Strand lead rookie quarterback performances in preseason Week 2
Undrafted passers Joey Aguilar and Jack Strand produced touchdowns and major yardage as 15 rookie quarterbacks saw action.

Joey Aguilar threw for 130 yards and a 29-yard touchdown to Trebor Pena, while Jack Strand accounted for a passing and rushing score in NFL preseason Week 2.
Aguilar threw only one incompletion across 10 attempts against the Panthers. The undrafted quarterback also delivered a 43-yard completion on his lone throw in his professional debut.
Strand, an undrafted Division II Minnesota State-Moorhead product, followed his Week 1 rushing touchdown with 212 passing yards, a touchdown and another score on the ground against the Colts. He ran nine times for 22 yards in the competition for Atlanta's No. 3 quarterback job.
Fernando Mendoza's first start included an 80-yard pick-six on the Raiders' opening possession. The No. 1 overall pick completed 8 of 15 passes for 86 yards and took a sack for an 11-yard loss.
Kaliakmanis led Washington in passing for a second straight week, totaling 162 yards and connecting with Nick Nash for 55 yards. Joe Fagnano threw Baltimore's only touchdown in a 13-3 win over Minnesota, an 8-yard pass to LaJohntay Wester.
